Is there Killing?

Is there War?

Is there pain, sorrow and suffering?

Is there a solution to make it all go away?

Is there conflict?

Is there issues?

Is there rape, robbery and crying?

Is there any peace in this world?

Not every day you woke up, the world is alright

Not every day you woke up, you thanked God for your life

Not every day you woke up, you say “Yes! I’m happy” with a smile

As the world is full of confusion, tormenting your soul and mind

You’ve heard news around the globe

People killing for self worth

Disrespecting each other to maintain a code

A code of conduct designed to destroy our world

Innocent babies killed and thrown away like garbage

Innocent lives heard and children become fatherless

Words on the street states that life is a twirling mess

That the only way to solve it is killing thyself

You are fortunate, you’ve reached an age

An age to look back, learn and make the world a better place

With hope for the future, you will become leaders of tommorrow

So take good care of your mind,

Let it not be troubled by pain and sorrow.

Know that life has its twists and turns

As many of us sometimes learn

Make a stand on what you believe

Lets help make haste to bring peace

Is there Killing?

Is there War?

Is there pain, sorrow and suffering?

Is there a solution to make it all go away?

Is there conflict?

Is there issues?

Is there rape, robbery and crying?

Is there any peace in this world?

Tell me what would you do about it?

Oh! What would you do about it?

What would you do about it?

  1. This is a beautiful piece. We need to start asking ourselves if the actions we take in our daily lives have a positive effect on the world. The world needs change, and that change begins in our mind. It begins with you
